Here is some of the ever expanding evidence The Satisfaction have uncovered documenting their encounters with The Veil and "unveiling" their presence within multiple universes throughout their travels. Also some similarities that have been spotted between places or items that certain worlds (games) seem to have in common. But first, you may wonder.. just what exactly is "The Veil"? Who are they and what are they trying to accomplish?
More about "The Veil"
The Veil are deeply shrouded in shadow, yet are plain to be seen. They lurk in the darkness, yet present themselves as agents of light. They are masters of manipulation, cunning and deceptive. Some members of their order are even regarded as heroes in their worlds.. tricking people into trusting them by helping them, but ultimately only using them for their own advantage. They seek to have ultimate control by keeping their identities relatively unknown and "pulling the strings" as it were from the shadows to make things go the way they want them to without arousing suspicion of their involvement. They try to avoid fighting and mostly try to trick people into fighting each other, but if need be they are quite formidable in combat.
Although their numbers have increased significantly since they began their conquest, the originators of this organization are the former crew of "The Voyager", Captain Morgan's first vessel. After a skirmish with a skeleton ship during a stormy night at sea, The Voyager struck a rock hidden by the crashing waves which sent Captain Morgan flying overboard. The rest of the crew however were not so lucky.. being dragged down to the Underworld and becoming undead skeletons themselves.
Captain Morgan eventually was able to retrieve Death's Key and make his way to the Underworld to release his former crew mates.. but it was too late. They had completely become corrupted and now sought to kill him for leaving them behind. Morgan was barely able to escape closing them back behind Death's door, but in the fight for his life he didn't notice he had dropped Death's Key behind. Eventually they located it and released themselves from the Underworld. They still hold Death's Key in their possession and use masks to hide their skeletal forms.
